End of the year project Final 100 points!!!
Due June 7th, 2013
For your end of the year project you will pick 1 of the following 3 options.
1. EDUCATIONAL VIDEO (3-4 people) 100pts
Submit a DVD that effectively teaches a concept that we have covered this year in class. The length of the video should last about 10-15 minutes and include a short skit in Spanish that applies the concept covered. Some examples of concepts would be: regular verb conjugation, preterit verb conjugation, reflexive verbs, restaurant or school vocab, etc. All SPANISH would need to be approved by me before the video is made to ensure accuracy.
Guidelines for this project:
•	Must be burned on a dvd/ or you could bring your laptop and play it of that, but you must bring any special cords you might need to set it up. Please check with me first. 25 points
•	Must be 10-15 minutes in length. 25 points
•	Must be on a topic discussed in class. 25 points
•	Must be in Spanish!!! 25 points
•	Extra Credit opportunity: if creative and really well done 10 points
2. MUSICAL LYRICS (1-2 people) 100 points
Find song sung in Spanish that you can burn to a CD, ipod, or portable storage device so that you can play it for the class. Make a poster that depicts the lyrics in Spanish AND English (translate). Include a picture of the artist performing, as well as the Song title and original songwriter and album information. If you want to find a song in English, you will have to find a way to record someone (talk to your buddies in choir!) singing it in Spanish so that you can play it for the class IN SPANISH. (Karaoke???) You could also have someone/ or yourself perform it live!
Guidelines for this project:
•	Song must be in Spanish, if you choose an English song you must find a way to translate it and record it in Spanish 25 points
•	Must include a poster with lyrics both in Spanish and English, Song title, Artist, pictures, any album information, etc 50 points
•	Present the song and the information on the poster 25 points
•	Extra Credit opportunity: perform the song live either you or someone else 10 points

3. SKIT/ SHORT PLAY (3-4 people) 100 points
Perform a short skit or play, lasting at least 5-7 minutes, for the class, or you may film yourself performing the skit and burn in onto a DVD so that we can show the class. You must type out your lines in Spanish and English and English Translation to turn in to me, but perform the play in Spanish. You may have a person narrating in English if you would like, but ALL the actors lines must be in Spanish. You may write your own play by using the chapters in the book that we have discussed or TRANSLATE an existing one.
Guidelines for this project:
•	Skit must be 5-7 min long. 25 points
•	Must perform skit in Spanish either in person or record it and burn it into a DVD/ play it from your laptop bring appropriate cords. 50 points
•	Typed lines in both English and Spanish. 25 points
•	Extra Credit opportunity: if creative and really well done 10 points

Please be wise on who you pick as a partner. Make sure everyone pulls their own weight. Please follow all directions, and if you have any questions please let me know.
