(I also printed your grades from the Unit 3 MC Exam & Unit 2 Essay Exam as so many of you asked or couldn't read the original posting).

Each student will receive a detailed progress report and all graded assignments when we return on 01/07/2008 as well as an estimate for how many points will be left in the final four weeks of the semester and a recommendation about your placement for next semester. Hang onto your individual questions about grades until after we return from the Christmas Break.

Assignment

This is the Guidebook packet for Chapter 17 for extra credit.  I mistakenly copied Chapter 18 for you last week (Manifest Destiny was Chapter 18 in the previous edition of the text). 

Again, the packets provided in class for Chapters 14 & 15 are due upon your return to class on Mon 01/07/08.  Extra credit will be given for Chapter 17!  (No extra credit for Chapter 18, but hang onto that packet just in case!)

Note: These files should be easier to print-out then before as I've scanned each page as an image rather than as a pdf file and you should not need any programs on your computer to open them.  If you still can't access these files, ask a friend or simply do 14 & 15 as this packet is extra credit.

Unit 3 Multiple-Choice Exam Results:
Because one student SHATTERED the curve, by earning a grade ELEVEN points higher than any other student with +64/80 (Congratulations, Kenia!), this Exam was curved by taking the five highest scores and averaging them, producing a curve based on +55/80 as the highest score.

Overall the exam grades on this MC test were far better as a group than the last MC Exam and many individual students showed tremendous improvement!

Grade updates including ALL assignments through 12/20/07 available by the end of next weekend.
