Course Description
Welcome to English 9. In this class, you will learn the basic skills necessary to become effective readers, writers, and communicators. You will learn about the different elements of literature, how to craft a well-written essay, and how to deliver outstanding speeches! We will explore different short stories, novels, plays, and poetry. The Studio R/W course places special emphasis on reading and writing where the students have the opportunity to grow as readers and writers. The Studio class has a specialized curriculum, library, and resources.
