Twelve students and two teachers spent Saturday opening cans, peeling yams, slicing and dicing food to help Midnight mission prep for the their annual Thanksgiving Dinner. Students were also asked to help serve food and clean the tables during the lunch rush. Students took a tour of the facilities and spoke to one of the men living at the Mission. The story that he shared with the students was quite eye opening for many of the students. It also gave the students a different perspective on what it is like to be homeless in LA.
