Honors Biology (Period 1)
Course Description
Welcome students and parents to a new school year! My name is Carina Gutierrez and I am a Science teacher at Hawthorne High school. I will be teaching Biology and I would like to share some information about the course, some of the policies/expectations for the classroom, and my contact information. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. I am looking forward to a great year!
Biology is a Science that studies living organisms. In this course, we will cover topics such as Cells, Anatomy, Genetics, Ecology and Evolution. The course is one-year and fulfills graduation requirements for Life Science.
