The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a team made up of parents, school staff, and people from the community who all work together to help students learning English. Their main job is to give advice to the school about programs and services that can help these students succeed. This team helps the school create plans specifically for English learners and to help figure out what the school needs overall.

Parents of English learners get to elect other parents who serve on the ELAC, making sure parent voices are truly heard. Everyone on the ELAC gets training so they can do their job well and help make a real difference for English learners!
