Presenation to recruit and serve for the following purporse: Minds Matter is a 3-year college access program open to low-income freshmen in the Los Angeles area with a 3.0 GPA or higher who are planning on attending college and may benefit from additional support. We provide mentoring, test prep, tutoring, career exploration, summer programs, and college app support–all at absolutely no cost to schools or students and their families. I have attached flyers with more detailed information for educators and students, and am also happy to answer any questions you may have.



Students are eligible if they:

Are a current freshmen in high school

Have a first-year GPA of 3.0 or higher

Meet our low-income eligibility (similar to FRPL, see table attached)

Commit to attend Saturday sessions every weekend during the school year, sophomore-senior year
