Aloha Cougars!

I am proud to serve as one of the associate principals at Hawthorne High School.

Being born and raised on the small island of Molokai, Hawaii, I grew up in a large family where hard work, gratitude, tradition, and community are deeply valued. As a multiethnic fourth-generation member of an immigrant family, my upbringing shaped how I lead and serve others. The values of Aloha, Ohana, and Pono remain at the heart of my work.

I earned my B.A. in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University and my master’s degree in Educational Administration and administrative credential from Concordia University. Before entering education, I worked in marketing, public relations, and communication consulting. I have also served as an adjunct professor of education at Mount Saint Mary’s University and continue to work in communication and leadership development. As a certified leadership trainer through The Boomerang Project, developing and empowering leaders has remained a consistent passion throughout my career.

I come from a family of educators and have access to diverse perspectives on teaching, learning, and school administration. I believe deeply in the power that education and leadership have to shape a community. I am honored to serve the Hawthorne community and look forward to continuing to be a catalyst for positive change.
