STEM Family Night

The HHS Science Department is having a STEM Family Night on 02/28/20 from 4-5:30pm in the C building Quad. There will be interactive models and a STEM Fair Competition

Career Fair 2020

CVUHSD in partnership with the SBWIB will be hosting this year's Career Fair at Hawthorne Memorial Center on Wednesday, March 4th from 9:45 am to 12:45 pm.Students will participate in three sessions: meet and greet with 20-25 career representatives, a financial literacy lesson, and a quick interviewing bootcamp. No Cell Phones in Class

Effective immediately, students are to place cell phones on silent and keep them in their backpack during instructional time. Earbuds should be placed inside student backpacks as well. Cell phones and earbuds should only be out at the direction of the teacher.

Student Must Bring ID Everyday

Hawthorne High School requires students to bring their ID to school with them everyday. The ID is used to scan late students in, scan students out when leaving early, scan them in to the media center and for certain school events. Effective Monday, 11/4 we will begin checking for student ID’s. If students do not have ID’s the following consequences will be given:
• 1st offense – text parents about their forgotten ID
• 2nd offense – Call parents about forgotten ID
• 3rd offense – RTI will speak with parents
• Subsequent offenses will require the purchase of a new ID
